To take all necessary precautions right at the start is a guarantee of success for the future.

To have a good knowledge of soil particularities

• Soil analysis : eit will enable you to know the active CA++ rate which will be the determining factor in the choice of the rootstock and to adapt the basic manure, then annual, according to the soil characteristics.
• Drought : the resistance to drought varies from low to very good according to each rootstock.
• Dampness : It does not practically exist any rootstock perfectly adapted to dampness. However some varieties have a better adaptability than others.
• Deep ploughing : a deep ploughing realized between June and October is always needed as the soil needs to air and store water to allow a good sprout up of the vegetation.

To envisage an early order : It is in your interest to order the vine plants very early in the season, you will be thus ensured to have all the quantities and varieties of your choice.

Storage :

The delivery is done upon your request only a few days before the plantation: we have kept and prepared for you the vine plants in very good conditions thanks to our adapted installations.

For a good plantation :

In addition to the care which the grower must take during the planting and the possible watering, it is necessary to remind :

• that the closed plastic bags containing the plants should not be left exposed to the sun in the field.
• that in the event of plastic mulching, it is necessary to rapidly refill the hole around the vine plant. Our teams for plantation, by hands or machine, stay at your disposal.

THEORITICAL TABLE SCALE FOR PLANTATIONS

The table below provides the number of plants per hectare These quantities must be reduced by 8% to 15% depending on the size or shape of the plot.
